Adults
We work with men and women of all ages and backgrounds. We believe in solution-focused treatment that
helps clarify issues and address goals in a time effective manner. Some of the common issues clients bring to
therapy include depression, recurring anxiety, stress, work and career issues, relationship difficulties, anger
management, parenting problems, bereavement, and health and wellness issues. Clients also seek counseling
and coaching in navigating life transitions and cultivating happiness and meaning in their lives
Children & Adolescents
We work with children and adolescents ages 5-18 using play, relational, solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Common issues include anxiety and depression, school challenges, behavior issues, social concerns, grief & loss,
and issues relating to divorce. We are active in coordinating treatment with school systems and other care
providers, as warranted.
Couples & Families
We work with couples and families when problems in relationships surface. Treatment can include a focus on
communication skills, intimacy, parenting issues, divorce or remarriage concerns.
Alcohol and Substance Abuse
We are pleased to be offering alcohol and substance abuse treatment and assessments for adolescents and adults. We also work with individuals
who may be in need of mandated substance abuse screenings and assessments for DUIs, courts and other orders. We offer non-judgmental
and motivating services for those who may struggle with alcohol and substance use concerns.

Child and Adult Psychodiagnostics
Counseling Associates offers psychological and neuropsychological assessment to aid in the diagnosis of many psychological and neurodevelopmental disorders that can impact on school and life success. Our psychological diagnostics team offers adults, children and their families comprehensive assessment of a variety of presenting issues including ADHD, executive function problems and differential diagnosis of emotional/behavioral problems. We can help you decipher what is going on and what to do about it.
School Consultation
We are pleased to be able to offer consultation services to local and regional school systems to support them in achieving their goals to meet the educational, behavioral, and mental health needs of students.
CA Workshops and Groups
Counseling Associates offers a variety of workshops and groups to complement our clinical offerings. You are welcome to explore various wellness and mental health topics including journaling, stress management, navigating life transitions, coping with serious illness, and others.
