Jim Esposito, MA LCMHC, NCC is a partner at Counseling Associates, a New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor through the
National Board of Certified Counselors. Jim brings to Counseling Associates over 29 years of experience in the mental health field working
with children and adults in both outpatient and residential settings. Jim specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families,
and has extensive experience in the area of behavioral problems and school issues. Jim's practice also includes consultation to schools.
For the last 15 years, Jim has concentrated much of his efforts in the area of child and family services, with a particular focus on at-risk children and families. Jim has served as consultant to many school districts, helping teachers and parents to understand, diagnose, and treat behavioral disorders, both at home and in the classroom. Jim has also been an instructor with the University of New Hampshire extension system.
Jim holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University, as well as a Masters in Philosophy from Columbia University. He completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University where he earned Bachelors degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy.
