Betsy Harrison, MA LCMHC is founding partner of Counseling Associates and a licensed clinical mental health counselor. Betsy's specializations include women's issues, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss.
In addition to her clinical work, Betsy is a Certified Journal to the Self Instructor®. She works both individually with clients and leads workshops on reflective writing and visual journaling. A schedule of upcoming workshops is available at: nlcounselingassociates.com/workshops
Betsy grew up in the local community and is a graduate of Kearsarge Regional High School. She was awarded her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology cum laude from Mount Holyoke College and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School. Betsy has over 10 years of clinical experience in community mental health and private practice settings working with adults and children.
Betsy's long-term commitment to the Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee region drew her to found Counseling Associates with Dr. Borchert. Betsy highly values her collaborations within the community and she is committed to providing accessible, high-quality coordinated care in this area.
